Ich wurde 1965 in Baden geboren und verbrachte meine Kindheit mit meinen beiden Eltern und meinem Bruder in Würenlos. Stetig und zäh biss ich mich durch's Schulsystem um nach einem Umweg über die ETH den Ingenieur der Elektrotechnik an der HTL Brugg-Windisch abzuschliessen.
1993 heiratete ich meine grosse Liebe Evelyne und wir zogen nach Birmenstorf AG.
Meine Berufskarriere begann im Vertrieb bei Hewlett-Packard in der Schweiz. Nach einem kurzen Abstecher zu Alcatel akzeptierte ich eine Position bei HP in Kanada worauf ich und Evelyne 1994 nach Edmonton zogen und wo wir 1996 und 1997 unsere Familie um Andrin und Roman bereicherten.
Von 1998 bis 2000 absolvierte ich and der University of Alberta den Master in Business and Administration (MBA) wärend dem ich Solis Kaffee Maschinen nach Kanada importierte und einen Oldtimer restaurierte. Im Frühling 2000 startete ich bei Pixelmetrix als Verkaufsleiter North America.
2001 zog es uns zurück nach Europa, wo ich als GM Pixelmetrix in Europa leitete und den Markt in EMEA aufbaute. In meinem Beruf bin ich viel in der Welt herumgekommen und immer hätte ich gerne meine Familie dabei gehabt, um mit ihnen die Eindrücke und Erlebnisse zu teilen. Dieser Wunsch ist stetig gewachsen, und ich bin sehr glücklich darüber, dass wir unsere Kinder für unseren Traum einer Familienweltreise begeistern konnten. Ich freu mich auf ein Jahr voller unvergesslicher Eindrücke.

I was born in Baden Switzerland in 1965 and spent my childhood with both my parents and my brother in Würenlos. Steadily I advanced through the school system and after a detour to the ETH in Zürich I got a degree as Bachelor of Electronical Engineering at the HTL- Brugg Windisch Switzerland.
1993 I married my true love Evelyne and we moved to Birmenstorf AG.
My job career started in sales at Hewlett-Packard Switzerland. After a short while at Alcatel I accepted a position at HP in Canada that made me and Evelyne move to Edmonton in 1994 and where we completed our family with the birth of Andrin and Roman in 1996 and 1997 respectively.
From 1998 to 2000 I did my Master of Business and Administration (MBA) at the University of Alberta while I imported Solis Coffee Makers into Canada and spent my past time restoring an 1927 Franklin car. In Spring 2000 I started as Sales Manager North America at Pixelmetrix.
2001 we were drawn back to Europe where I developed and managed Pixelmetrix as general manager EMEA. In my job I frequently traveled to many places and I always wished I could have my family with me in order to share the many impressions and experiences. I am excited that we managed to convince our children that there is nothing better than taking a year off to discover our world. I am looking forward to a year of unforgettable experiences.
